West Mt Lyell mine: now + then « Previous | |Next »
May 18, 2012

I'm working in the Queenstown (Tasmania) library searching online for photos of the Mt Lyell mine in Queenstown for their rephotography project. I'm searching online for old pictures of the west Lyell open cut mine that I can work with:

I'm looking to compare a now and then picture of the West Lyell open cut mine that is now abandoned.

The mining is now all done underground. So we are looking at a history of the mining an open cut with now and then.
